The Indiana Harbor Yacht Club(IHYC) was founded in 1939 by a group of local
boating enthusiasts. Their objective was to unite yacht owners and all
others interested in safe boating and the conservation of our precious
waterways.
Members of the IHYC enjoy the unique atmosphere, with old time fishing charm, inside a beautiful lounge overlooking the picturesque Southern area of Lake Michigan, with a grandstanding overview of the East Chicago Marina. From the lounge, walk onto our luxurious tiki deck to enjoy cocktails, and watch a beautiful sunset on Lake Michigan.
